Nijushiho is a 2nd Dan Black Belt kata in the Shotokan system.  Niseishi is a high grade kata in many of the Shorin-ryu lineages.  Different, but sharing the same essence, this seminar filmed live in Devon demonstrates the applications that can be found when one understands the principles that unite the styles.

John Burke sensei shows the applications to Nijushiho, while Martyn Harris sensei shows how Niseishi works.  Together the applications demonstrate how targets become available, and how best to utilise them, and also how two-handed actions can mask the grabs and such-like that are really going on.
